About Bees Models

Bees Models originated in 1976. We have provided a model-making and artwork service since then, mostly to industry, museums and other commercial outlets selling collectable scale models.

Detailed and hand-painted boat

Over the years we have handled a wide variety of projects ranging from a 35ft animated watersnake, carving cheese on TV commercials, to designing and creating a 40ft high stainless steel water sculpture for Severn Trent Water Authority. Not strictly modelmaking but it all comes under the same umbrella!

Warning: Please be aware that our models are collectors' items and are NOT suitable for children under the age of 15yrs - they are not toys.

We have also produced military dioramas, mostly for regimental museums, which can be seen in various parts of the country eg. Salisbury, Gloucester, Warwick, National Army Museum in London, and a particulary stunning interactive model of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea which can be seen in their newly refurbished museum.

In addition we have made many hundreds of hand-made models including cars, motorbikes, boats, military vehicles and of course aircraft - see examples on our Custom Models page.

Whilst the making of aircraft models is our main business, we are always happy to quote on whatever modelmaking requirements you may have - please contact us to discuss further.
